The Adventures with Bucca and Munga Come to and End... (FOR NOW)

Joe and I can honestly say we had so much fun with the kids while they were here. We can also honestly say that we are tired, worn out and realize we are no longer young and probably would have a hard time if we were starting over with kids lol.   HOWEVER, it was a blessing to have children full time for a while, with the noise and chaos we remember those special times that we went through so many years ago raising ours...  Sorry Zach and Sara if they are a little spoiled when you received them back, but we had fun being grandparents, we kept them super busy and we think they both had a ton of fun too!
My brothers girls (Ellie and Emma) came over to play with the boys, they even came equipped with puzzles, puppets and games! WOW, I even got my dishes done while they played with Mason and Carter.
Then it was time to wrap up our visit....we tuckered the boys out good.
Mason LOVES Able (Josh's dog and now our new dog)
and insists Able is his because Able loves him.
You can see that is true! SOOOOOO Sweeeeeeeet!
Carter found some reading glasses and wanted them on.
He was ready for bed but kept pointing to them to have them on.
So we had to have a KODAK moment lol...
Until Mason wanted a turn, and Carter was going to tackle him for the glasses back...
Then it turned into "Brotherly Love".... So sweet and precious...
Munga misses you already, I keep thinking Carter is down for a nap since it is so quiet now. Mason, I miss hearing..."Munga, Munga, Munga, Munga...." over and over...hee hee.  LOVE YOU and welcome back to California, your Mommy and Daddy have missed you both terribly.   Until next years grand kids visit alone...XOXO

Adventures with Bucca and Munga- Part 3

Since Mason asked if we have parks in Utah (lol...YUP we do!  Lots of kids in Utah = lots of parks )
we have been sightseeing and checking out the local parks.  Bucca tried to squeeze in a few honey-do's with the kids, but he mostly played and didn't get much accomplished.  He realized now why Munga is SO tired, ha...a reality check! Kids = Chaos, Clutter and Keeping them busy, fed, out of danger, and occupied,
which = Just trying to keep one step ahead of the kids and letting everything else go.  GEEESH...we sure appreciate Zach and Sara's role, we have forgotten how busy little ones are, but also they are SO rewarding!

See Mom and Dad...they are not always so happy to be at Bucca and Munga's  lol

BOY's BOY's BOY's....
a cute pic of Andrea's boys (Eli, Gabe, and Zach) with
Carter and Mason at the "Rocket Park"
all the boys had a nice time playing as you can see

After a full day of fun, we had a bath and Aunt Ashley played with the boys

Mason got tuckered out on a bike ride while Bucca pulled him in the carrier trailer
Carter and the ride on toy, it is carried, moved, rode on
and pushed around...we sure got our money's worth on this DI find! lol
Helping Bucca with the shed and blowing away the dirt and leaves
All clean...now we can play in the playhouse and pretend we live here
Swimming after Munga taught water aerobics. Bucca brought the boys to the pool and we had our own special swimming time. Great G'ma Judeen was at the class so she got to play a few minutes with the boys
Mason pretty happy that he could float alone
Carter just loved to splash and splash getting me all wet,
not like I am already wet but it was pretty intense splashing he had going on
Mason braved it up and decided to jump from the side to Joe (Bucca).
He was loving it, then decided it was enough after a dozen or so plunges.
We had a blast, we went for pizza afterward
and it wasn't long before the boys were
ready for bed....ah, the sweet sound of quiet...
that is why I can blog :)

Adventures Continue...Part 2

Because the boys are so darn cute we are showing them off , and of course that is also for Mommy and Daddy's benefit but we have a lot of pics to post... AND  since the boy's were already dirty from playing at the school with PresLee, we decided to stop at the park on the way home from Idaho to give them a break from the driving. We stopped at the "Castle" park in Kaysville which was a big hit. We had fun on the playground, then explored the trails in the trees behind the park.

Mason biffed it here on the slide, it is blurry but you can see the face plant

Followed by the realization it wasn't funny and Mason was mad at the "poopy" slide for hurting him.
We explored the "forest" Here is Bucca & Mason
And Munga and Mason.. we took turns with Carter
Then.....
We stopped off at our friends house on the way home, they have quite the assortment of exotic pets.
We promised Mason he could see a 'real' snake.  And boy did he...
Introduction to "Monty and Esme" (yes, they own 2 snakes!) ugh
A lesson on how to hold them
Aw...getting braver!
"LOOK EVERYBODY, I AM BRAVE!!!"
"Hey Carter...Wanna turn?"
View from the front... and now the back...
OK, Munga had to also prove she was "BRAVE" too. That is a fake smile by the way. lol.
Isn't he cute? Or she?  NOT....
I think I look pretty good though  HA HA.
