Motorcycle Mania

Yeah, I know...we haven't posted for a while.  I think it is the fact that we've had a little too much on our plate, and when we didn't we decided to have our dessert per say and ride our new toy...the BMW bike we bought to complete our mid life crisis. hee hee.

We went with some friends (who happened to be the ones that sold us the bike) to Wendover for a concert, overnight stay and ride in March.  We had a blast, it was a bit cold riding back and a little too windy! We rode straight, but the bike was sideways most of the way due to the wind.  yowsers!

We took many mini rides on an afternoon or evening, but now the weather is a bit more cooperative we have really started to make some plans for summer...
For Easter weekend we rode to Morgan and had dinner at Spring Chicken Inn and then rode through Coalville, over to Parley's and back home.  Yes, it was a bit cold I must say then too,but oh so exhilarating! So, the addiction began and Joe wanted to go some on Saturday; then on Sunday (Easter) we rode to Lava Hot Springs- sat in the hot pools and had dinner there then rode home the long way.  Here are some pics from our rides.

geared up for the ride, bundled but warm

feel like a spaceman but I will say I feel much safer like that

On the road
View from our side, open road, air and nature

passing cars, kinda weird when you are so close and out in the element

after our hot tub soaks at Lava

Lava pools, we didn't take it with us in there, so you can stop looking for us

ate at a restaurant named "Johnny's" which is our nickname
so it was appropriate, and they make a great burger!

lot's of farms we passed, cool old buidlings

yet another tiny town, this one was Arimo...more farms btw

and lot's and lot's of cows!

still smiling on the road at 65 mph at least

gotta love the long and windy roads

the sun was gorgeous as it shone down on us, this doesn't do it justice

another little town, saw this donkey by a lone abdonded house

and this cool old barn, so kept snapping pics

and our shadow as we rode in the sunset toward home
